Keri Cooper LCSW, NBCCH

I have been working as a psychotherapist since obtaining my masters degree from the University of Pennsylvania. In that time, I successfully worked with issues of anxiety, depression, and ADHD, to name a few. I have worked with both adults and children, for more then fifteen years. Children and adolescents have been my speciality focusing on depression, ADHD and anxiety especially around school issues. I also work with many college and high school students on implementing coping skills. I am certified in DBT training and incorporate those tools into my practice.

I am a member of The National Association of Social Workers, The National Board of Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists, and a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.

My hypnotherapy training has helped many individuals work through their negative thoughts and begin making positive changes in their lives. Many have reported that initial positive change in their lives resulted in bigger change later on and larger outcomes than they originally anticipated. Many clients find mindfulness to help them regulate their emotions.

In addition to my extensive work in social work and hypnotherapy, I earned my

certificate in Health Coaching from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, in New York. Many of my clients suffer from poor nutrition which directly impacts their energy, decision making skills, and entire lives. My comprehensive training helps individuals examine their food choices while working with proven psychotherapy methods to improve their overall well being.

I strongly believe that an integrated approach to therapy has the most success. I am pleased to be able to offer my clients a complete holistic approach, which produces better outcomes than one method alone.
